The Lantern Sleeve Sweater

The Lantern Sleeve Sweater was the first sweater design I ever created—and it came straight from my own closet dreams. I’ve always loved a boxy, cropped silhouette, and I envisioned a sweater with dramatic, voluminous sleeves that tapered down into a snug cuff. It was a style I wanted to wear all the time, but I could never find anything like it in stores. So, I made it myself.

This sweater perfectly captures the casual, streetwear vibe I love. It’s easy to throw on with high-waisted jeans, and it’s become one of my most worn pieces in my wardrobe. I've made it in white, cream, and black. It’s safe to say this design has become one of my signature looks.

Since the release of the pattern, makers from around the world have brought their own unique flair to the Lantern Sleeve Sweater. One of my absolute favorites is Andy’s version, where she wove ribbons along the sides—it adds such a fun, styled detail that I adore.
